Medicine Cabinet

Finished my model to turn in tomorrow!  I also finished both the RED and BLU versions.

It was a very rewarding assignment because of the fact that we learned how to apply something we built into an actual game, and understand the work needed to perfect a model.  We certainly had it better that the other Maya class where they just modeled an object of their choice.  I think the experience of building something that was fun and whimsical, then seeing it sit on a character’s head was really something.

This hat was originally intended only for the Pyro, but I slapped it onto the other characters’ heads just to see what would happen.  Most of the time the hat was attached at a point way above their head so it floated.  The Sniper was the only character where the hat fit pretty well as is, though I would have to move some of the teeth on the side that are cutting into his head.
