17. What would you absolutely refuse to draw?
Anything that involves bodily excretions, anything that would advocate violence against race, gender, or sexual orientation. There may be the time when it is needed to be illustrated, but it really depends on how the image will be used. Luckily I haven’t had to deal with that yet.
21. Do you believe there is such thing as “bad art?”
I have seen some art which I think it really, really awful. I’ve been avoiding this issue a lot because I try not to put down people directly, especially those who want to improve [like myself]. Some beginners start out very talented, and some do not. ’Bad art’ seems to really only appear when an artist refuses to move forward or receive constructive criticism. I also try to attribute that more to the technique rather than the content. It’s all subjective, really, so there’s never a ‘real’ definition for ‘bad art’ but that’s my take on it.
